If you’re an experienced tradesperson who aspires to move into senior management, or have been working in a senior role and want to brush up on your skills, this is the course for you. The Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) will provide you with the skills and capabilities to be a successful leader and manager in the building and construction industry.

– Administered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 21583).

With this nationally-recognised Diploma, you could pursue roles such as Project Manager, Construction Manager, Estimating Manager, or Sales Manager.

You must be currently working in the building and construction industry, have already obtained a Certificate IV and at least five years current experience in the building and construction sector.

Course durations vary depending on the class selected by the participant.

The course is delivered with both theory and practical elements, with a mixture of classroom, group discussions, and individual research (including online study) supported by workplace mentoring by your workplace supervisor (if applicable).

 

Assessments are completed to measure your skills and knowledge against the training qualification requirements and those of the industry. The assessment process will include written and practical presentations, observation and classroom participation and will require some time away from the training rooms completing assignments and self-paced exercises online and through the development of a workplace portfolio of evidence.
